Their success can be attributed to their strong pitching staff, led by Giselle Juarez and Shannon Saile. Juarez has been outstanding all season, with a 0.95 ERA and 22 wins.
The Sooners also have a powerful offense, led by Jocelyn Alo, who has hit an incredible 30 home runs this season. In the NCAA tournament, the Sooners faced tough competition but managed to come out on top. They defeated James Madison in the Super Regionals and then beat UCLA in the Women’s College World Series semifinals. In the final, they faced off against Florida State and won 5-1.
